My 13-year old daughter started dance for the first time this season, and she grew so much both in her technique and her personal discipline. This experience has helped her learn that practicing is necessary to advance with any skills in life, and has introduced her to so many new friends. She never once came home after class with anything negative to say. She has loved her instructors and her peers. After the end of season recital, she even asked me if she can sign up for more classes this coming year! We both love NRVAD and are excited to continue pursuing her dance journey!

NRV Academy of Dance is the perfect studio for our daughter. She has been taking dance here for 5 years. She has fallen in love with multiple types of dance while taking classes here. The staff all love dance and it shows. We have tried out other dance studios and none compare to NRVAD. As a mom of multiple children, I appreciate how well the studio communicates with parents.
A studio that is affordable, teaches the love of dance, and keeps parents informed in a very organized way. We are so pleased with NRV Academy of Dance!

My daughter who is now 7 years old, has been dancing at NRV Academy of Dance since she was 3. We have loved being part of such a wonderful studio! My daughter has grown so much as a dancer. Throughout the past few years, dance has taught her about commitment, hard work, and has helped her self-confidence greatly. In class, she is learning dance fundamentals and technique in a nurturing environment. We absolutely love the director and all of the staff! They are always organized and are so easy to work with! They send out a monthly newsletter that keeps parents informed of upcoming events--which is so helpful! The yearly recital is always phenomenal! I look forward to seeing the recital each year! My daughter has the love of dance in her heart and this studio helped put it there and keep it there! I appreciate them so much!

NRVAD provides quality instruction, small class sizes and a personalized approach to learning the art of dance. The focus of skill building and FUN has made NRVAD a perfect home for my dancer for the past 4 years, and I would highly recommend this facility and staff to all families looking for dance instruction. Last, but not least, their fee structure is amazingly affordable!

After a hard season of crippling anxiety issues, my daughter wanted to step out and try something new and challenging. NRV Academy of Dance was the answer to so many prayers. We not only found a place where my daughter ended up thriving and improving her skill sets through the dedicated and experienced instructors, but we also found a family. I've seen my daughter breakout into a confidence that I've never seen in her before and walking into the studio each week feels like home to us!

In the summer of 2017, I was invited by a friend to bring my two daughters to a free "Dolly & Me" dance class at NRV Academy of Dance. It was from this fun activity that my journey began as a Dance Mom. For the past three years, my daughter's have taken ballet and tap classes, adding beginning acro into the mix this year. We spend three hours at the studio during the week where we have made it into our own little home away from home. The studio's teachers, executive committee, reputation and pricing are what keep our family coming back every year. Being a single parent, I never thought that I could afford such an activity for my children to participate in, but NRVAD makes it possible! We love NRV Academy of Dance and are excited for the recital day in May!

My kids love NRV Academy of Dance like a second home and want to take as many classes as we will let them. The teachers are very skilled, kind, fun, yet professional and endlessly patient. The studio and the people that fill it is a community. Everyone works so hard and celebrates just as hard together. The girls have made wonderful friends in their classes and gained such confidence and work ethic that they are learning to apply in other parts of their lives.

New River Academy of Dance is a warm and relaxed atmosphere. When you walk in the studio, you instantly feel old and new friendships. My girls have danced there for the past 5 years and because of the comfort felt there, I at the young age of 45, decided to start my career in tap dancing. My girls, aged 6 and 8, have formed friendships that I hope will last for many years...as have I!

I have danced with this studio since I was 5, through The Dance Place, Sapphire Dance Center, and now the NRV Academy. The atmosphere has never changed and will forever be my home away from home! Everyone gives their all to provide each dancer with an amazing experience and provide a new or growing love of dance. I have had the opportunity to teach this year and I have never been so happy "working!" I love this studio along with everyone who works with it, and recommend it to anyone and everyone looking to find a passion for dance!
